When starting up Front Desk Manager, you may receive this Activation Error Message:
If you receive this message, please follow these steps before calling Technical Support.
Go to the main SchoolLeader server. Be aware that the Server may not be the computer you normally use. Once you've located the server, select the START button and choose "All Programs" from the popup menu. That list of all programs will display. Click on SCHOOLLEADER, then select SchoolLeader DBWatch. The program will start and a window will display indicating that the database is being started. If it starts successfully the ducks will begin to "walk" on the screen. You can now restart FrontDesk Manager.
If that doesn't help, then check the system clock on your server, and the system clock on your workstations. To check your clock, double click on the time that is displayed in the systray. Remember to check the date, year, and time for accuracy.
If it still won't start, then reboot the server and this workstation.
If you still receive the activation error, call Technical Support for assistance.
