The "Configuration Defaults" window allows you to define some very basic information about your school. This information is used in various ways throughout SchoolLeader.
The Licensee Information on the right hand side has been filled in by Kressa Software through the registration key that was loaded during the installation process.
School name - Used on all reports printed by SchoolLeader. You are limited to 25 characters.
Street - Used on all reports printed in SchoolLeader.
City, State, Postal/Zipcode, Country - Used on all reports in SchoolLeader. Also, these fields are used as initial "default" values during data entry. For example, any records (e.g. Guardians, Employees) that require address information, are prepopulated with this address when creating new entries.
Maximum occupancy - Used to calculate occupancy statistics as well as for data transfer to BackOffice Manager. Note: Backoffice is used to manage multiple centers. This is an option product meant for corporate operations. It may not apply to your situation.
Owner's name (first, middle initial, last) - Used on key reports and data transfers to Backoffice databases.
Telephone / Fax number - Used on some reports. Also, the area code of the Tel. Num is used as an initial "default" value during data entry..
Email address - Used on BackOffice reports
Company ID - If you are using a third party payroll company such as ADP, type in your ADP Company ID. If not, leave this field blank.
3rd Party G/L
Export Type - If you are using a 3rd party accounting package such
as QuickBooks
Allowed minutes of Inactivity - If you'd like to have SchoolLeader automatically log off the current user after so many minutes of inactivity, enter the number of minutes here. For example, if you'd like to automatically log off SchoolLeader FrontDesk after 3 minutes of inactivity, enter 3. Set this number to zero if you do not want SchoolLeader to automatically log off.
