SchoolLeader is a network ready system and can be effectively run on a Microsoft Client/Server network with up to 15 simultaneous users accessing a single Server. The Server computer does not need to be any particular type of computer but you should pick one of your more powerful computers to be the Server and make sure it has these extra features:
Direct Internet access so new versions of SchoolLeader can be downloaded and installed from the Internet
The thing that really makes a SchoolLeader SERVER different from the other SchoolLeader WORKSTATIONS is the fact that it is home base for all the SchoolLeader application software as well as the database. When SchoolLeader is launched from any workstation it gets the information and instructions directly from the Server. Similarly, when you access or change data in the database, this data is being stored in one common location on the server.
