A Subledger is a low level ledger that stores and manages the details which substantiate the dollars stored in the General Ledger. SchoolLeader is your Accounts Receivable Subledger. You store summary numbers regarding your A/R balances in the General Ledger but the details regarding those numbers is maintained and housed in SchoolLeader for detail analysis, reporting, etc.
