SchoolLeader supports several different electronic withdrawal methods to help simplify the Accounts Receivable process for both you and your customers. This window allows you to define the connection parameters necessary to use these internet based services. The window is broken into two main sections.
The BANKCARD PROCESSING section is for configuring SchoolLeader to accept Credit and Debit cards. You must define the userid, password, and merchant bank information to process bank cards.
The ACH & CHECK SCAN PROCESSING section is for configuring ACH transactions and electronic checks. Electronic checks are standard paper checks that are scanned with a desktop device and electronically deposited directly to your local bank without the need to submit the original paper copy
There are several fields that must be recorded. Don’t be concerned if you do not understand what these fields mean. All settings will be provided for you from a SchoolLeader representative or one of it's affiliate partners at the time you sign-up for the services.
Recording the ACH Userid and Password is a two step process. You will not type this information in directly. Instead, you will be given an Authorization Code by IStream via phone or mail. Enter this Authorization code into the IStream Auth. Code field and press VERIFY. The Auth. code will then be transmitted to IStream over the internet and a Userid and Password will be returned to SchoolLeader and stored in the database. Your IStream Userid and password will be displayed in the field (masked and grayed out) as shown in the example below. Once this is complete, your account is active and is ready to be used.
Once the Authorization code has been successfully entered, it cannot be entered again. You can discard the number at that time
If you need to change, reset, or clear the Userid/Password settings in the future, simply press the CLEAR button. You will not be able to process ACH or electronic checks until you receive and enter and new Authorization Code from IStream.
Press this button to save your changes. Close the window via the X button to cancel changes.
