General Ledger Reports

There are many reports associated with your G/L that reflect the financial status of your business.  These reports include Profit and Loss Statement and your Balance Sheet. Most G/L reports include selection criteria to provide different views of the data so that you only print what is needed.  

A 'year' means your fiscal year and not necessarily the calendar year.

Profit and Loss (Income Statement) - Period Summary

This report will display your Actuals and Budgeted Totals for each of your G/L Account Types (assets, liabilities, etc).  The totals will reflects Actuals and Year To Date (YTD) totals for the selected G/L accounting period.

Profit and Loss (Income Statement) - Period Summary

This report will display your Actuals at the detail level for each of your G/L Account Types (assets, liabilities, etc).  The totals will reflects Actuals and Year To Date (YTD) totals for the selected G/L accounting period.  The total budgeted amount per G/L category will also be displayed.

Profit and Loss (Income Statement) - Year to Year Comparison

This report will display your Actuals for the current year accounting period against the same period last year, for each of your G/L Account Types (assets, liabilities, etc).  This report is particularly useful for tracking same period income from one year to the next.

Balance Sheet - Summary

This report gives a quick overview of your financial status for the current YTD balance compared against the YTD balance from last year.

This report displays details of your financial status for the current YTD balance compared against the YTD balance from last year.  

Account Balance - Summary

This report displays a summarized report of all debits, credits and balances for each of your G/L accounts, for the selected accounting period.  For example, you can view totals of your Cash Accounts and Accounts Receivable Accounts you have listed under Assets.

Account Transaction - Detail

This report displays details of your G/L activity for the selected accounting period, for each G/L Account Code.
