5.5 - Guardian CheckPoint Screen

Once the guardian has entered their PIN, this next CheckPoint screen will be displayed. It contains access to all of the CheckPoint functions that a guardian can perform including check-in, check-out, contact information, etc.  

 

 

  The buttons along the left hand sign of the window allow the guardian to:

If there are any messages for this guardian, they will be displayed under 'Messages For You'.  Messages are sent from the CheckPoint Manager in FrontDesk.  

Student Sign In

To sign a student(s) in, the guardian must:

If the user makes a mistake and does not wish to sign in any students then they can press the GO BACK button to return to the main Guardian CheckPoint screen.

The guardian can choose the SELECT / UNSELECT ALL button to quickly highlight (or un-highlight) everyone in the list. 

Account Info (Button)

This button is only active  for the Primary Guardian.  They will be allowed to display the details and summary info regarding their Payment Account for the current accounting period.

Contact Info (Button)

This button allows the guardian to review their contact information.  The information displayed here is for informational purposes only and can only be modified from FrontDesk Manager. 

Attend Log (Button)

This button will display the current attendance activity for any student this guardian has permission to pickup.  

Change my PIN (Button)

If the guardian wants to change their PIN they can do so by pressing this button. This will immediately clear their current PIN and prompt them to retype their new PIN. Once entered it will ask them to type it again for confirmation. The new PIN will then be saved for future reference.

If you are using the NO NAME SELECTION option for CheckPoint then this button will be disabled. A user can only set their own PIN when NAME SELECTION is active. Regardless, a users PIN can always be set from the CheckPoint Manager window in the FrontDesk Manager program. Refer to that topic for details.
