The 'Family' menu is a collection of folders and definitions that help support Family related tasks. They are:
Family Quickview - Allows you to quickly look up information on a family, by either the student name or the primary guardian name.
Student
Folders - Maintains all information regarding students in your
school.
Guardian Folders - Maintains information on all guardians associated with your students. A Guardian is any adult who is associated with a child, whether the person is a parent, grandparent, other relative, neighbor, foster parent, or any other type of relationship.
Third Party Sponsor Folders - Maintains information on all agencies who offer subsidies
Enrollment Waiting List - Manages your waiting list for each classroom. Your waiting list can be prioritized by registration date, or by 'as needed' date. SchoolLeader will track classroom availability and notify you when a slot becomes available.
Student Vaccine Schedule - Stores all of the required vaccines, as well as the age in which the vaccines are to be received. By updating the Student Vaccine Schedule, you can update all of the vaccinations in the student folders all at the same time. SchoolLeader will track expiration dates for each vaccination, and produce a letter for those students that are not in vaccination compliance.
Required Forms Schedule - Stores all of the required forms you need to keep on file for your students. SchoolLeader will track expiration dates for each form, and produce a letter for those students that are not in vaccination compliance.
Synchronize Group Tuition - Allows you to reset or 'synchronize' the tuition for a particular group of students, or for an entire classroom.
Student Groups - Define different student groups for enrollment tracking purposes. For example, you can create group names such as employee child, church member, or corporate sponsored. SchoolLeader will track your total enrollment as well as the number of students enrolled in each student group.
Reset Student Vacation/Sick Hours - Reset all of your student's accrued vacation and sick time back to zero.
Family Setup Wizard - Define all of the guardians associated with each child by using the family setup wizard.
Family Groups - Define different family groups for revenue tracking purposes. For example, you can create group names such as subsidized family, employee family, etc. SchoolLeader will track your total revenue as well as revenue generated by each individual group.
Family related information can be accessed from the top tool bar by clicking on FAMILIES, and then clicking on the appropriate function, or by clicking on one of the Family related icons on the tool bar.
