Since your PC environment consists of hardware, software, operating system, and network components, it may be difficult for you to distinguish between a SchoolLeader software issue and a failure of one of your other components. While SchoolLeader Support Specialists will attempt to help you troubleshoot your problem, we can only guarantee resolution for SchoolLeader related questions and issues.
It is highly recommended that you have a local PC/Network Technician available to you in the event that you experience a hardware, operating system, or network related problem.
If you are running SchoolLeader in a networked environment, there may be times when SchoolLeader stops working because your network has failed. A common error message is displayed by Windows when a SchoolLeader workstation cannot connect to the server:
"STOP. YOUR NETWORK CONNECTION CANNOT BE ESTABLISHED.'
If you are unable to troubleshot the error yourself, you will need to call your local PC technician. Here are some suggestions on what to do before calling:
Try rebooting the server and workstations.
Look for loose cables or wires.
Ensure that the server is turned on
Reboot your networking equipment (hub, router, etc)
