Student Vaccine Schedule

This window allows you to define the master vaccination schedule for all of your students. This schedule is defined by your local child welfare department or the state/federal health organization. Consult with these agencies to determine the valid vaccination schedule for your school. Once defined, SchoolLeader will track expiration dates of vaccinations to ensure that all students are in compliance.

To access the Student Vaccine Schedule, click on Families, then Edit Student Vaccine Schedule.

Vaccine Description

Type in the name of the vaccine.

Administered Age (Year Month)

Type in the age of the child that reflects when the vaccine must be administered.  In the above example, the first polio vaccine must be administered before he child is two months old.  Since there are multiple polio vaccinations given at different ages, you must list each vaccination separately.

The vaccines defined in this schedule will be automatically populated in each student folder, so you only need to enter this information once in this centralized location.  Any changes made to this Vaccination Schedule will be reflected in every student folder.

Once you have defined your vaccine schedule, SchoolLeader will be able to automatically manage and calculate the vaccination schedules for each student based on their recorded birth date.

Also Monitor compliance for School-Age Students

Normally, you would probably not need to monitor vaccine compliance for school-age children.  This should be handled by their primary school.  However, check this box if you want SchoolLeader to also  monitor these students along with your pre-k students.
