Primary SchoolLeader Server: Minimum requirements
• Windows 2000, Windows XP or greater (include latest Service Packs and Security patches).
• 350mhz Pentium Class or greater
• RAM Memory: 256 megabytes or greater
• Hard Drive Memory: 1 gigabytes free or greater
• CD-ROM reader
• Backup Drive: High capacity disk (250 megabytes), CD Writer or Tape System
• TCP/IP Network Protocol
• Internet access for Windows updates / Kressa downloads and online Technical Support
Additional Requirements for Multi-Station Setups
SchoolLeader Workstations
• Windows 2000, Windows XP or greater (include latest Service Packs and Security patches).
• 250mhz Pentium Class or greater
• RAM Memory: 128 megabytes or greater
• Hard Drive Memory: 500 megabytes free or greater
• TCP/IP Network Protocol
• Internet access for Windows updates / Kressa downloads and online Technical Support
CheckPoint Stations
• Same hardware as SchoolLeader Workstations shown above, plus:
• 14inch (or greater) Touch-screen monitor (Capacitive type recommended)
Networking Hardware **
• One Network Switch or Hub with transmission speed of 100mbps or greater
• Network Interface Cards (100mbps minimum.) for server and each workstation
• Peer to Peer network OK for 2 PCs;
• Wireless Networks will not work reliably with a database product like SchoolLeader and therefore are not supported.
** NOTE: Network setup and configuration must be completed by the customer before setup of SchoolLeader workstations can be performed.
